Taking A Leap

The wind blew up the canyon walls lifting her hair away from her tear stained face. Her toes hung over the edge as she stood there shaking, looking down into the canyon’s depths.

The wind blew harder and rocked her back. She caught her balance and wiped the tears from her cheeks.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

“I know I shouldn’t be afraid!” she said, her voice echoing across the canyon.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.

“Okay, I will do this for Your glory!”

Backing away from the edge she turned and walked seven steps. Turning back, taking a deep breath, she took off running and leapt high into the air letting the wind fill the fabric of her hang glider and lift her higher.

Her laughter rang out as she glided down to the crowd waiting. The printing on her glider fabric shone in the sunlight.   JESUS LOVES YOU!

Do you ever fear taking that first step when God is calling you to do something?

Don’t be afraid.

Take that step and leap in faith, God will lift you and carry you through.

God bless and keep you,

Sonia
